We are hiring in Monroe

This is a working trim shop, not a counter job. If you can sew, or you want to learn this trade properly from someone who has done it since 1989, come and talk to us.

01Who we are looking for

Sewing first — but not sewing only

The machine is the hardest seat to fill, so an experienced upholstery sewing machine operator can walk in tomorrow. It is not the only job here though: a top or an interior is stripped, repaired, patterned, cut, fitted and finished, and every one of those steps needs a pair of hands.

On the machine

  • Industrial machine experience — automotive, marine or furniture
  • Panels, seams, piping, pleats and diamond work
  • Working clean off a pattern

Around the machine

  • Stripping interiors and pulling old covers
  • Foam, frames, pads and bows — the repair underneath
  • Fitting tops and trim on the car
  • Keeping the shop and the benches straight

What matters most

  • You turn up, on the days you said you would
  • You take care with someone else’s vehicle
  • You would rather do it twice than hand back something crooked
  • Willing to learn the parts you do not know yet
